Newb Tube Productions was originally founded by Nate Wabick and Zeff Smith (aka GreenIrishMn and WhiteMuffinMan) in December of 2007. We had been making multiple movies in childhood. At the ages of 8 and 6 we started making Stop motion animation films with a lego cam we had running on an old windows 95 computer. We then began to film a short movies series which was based on a special agent who worked for Colonel Sanders. This was a live action series and it was only aired in the privacy of our own homes as it was very poorly done due to the fact that we were only like 12 and 11. We then began to get back into making stop motion animation except now we used clay.Our company name was KCC (Keen Claymation Company). This was our first series of movies which we put up on the Internet. We also entered some of the films into a local film contest in which we placed second. After a while we left the filming business to play one of our favorite online games, Halo 2. Muffin became addicted to the game while Irish had to go over to his house just to be able to play online due to the lack of internets at his own house. While online we found one person by the name of Anannsul who first introduced us to Machinima. She directed a couple of funny films which were labeled as Halo Crap. We became hooked on Machinima and watched it online and studied how to properly make a good machinima. Finally Halo 3 came out and with the new theatre mode it allowed us to film with even more ease. After the quick purchase of a capture card from Irish we proceeded to make our very first machinima on our own. After about a week of filming we finished our first film and put it up on youtube. Since then it has been well receive and many online gamers have decided to join our group and make great movies which the halo community can enjoy.
GreenIrishMn is the CEO of Newb Tube Productions and films, edits, directs, and voices all of the movies which are made. WhiteMuffinMan is in charge of being one of the puppeteers and for publicity and website management. Newb Tube productions currently has many members who help out with the movies but there is plenty room for many more good hard working people, which is why Newb Tube Productions is constantly looking for new members who want to help entertain the Halo community and possibly in the future even more.
